Every year, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show brings together the best of British horticulture, innovation, and artistry—but this year, there was a different sort of garden that stole the show and people’s hearts! We were delighted to have been involved in the Monty Don Dog Garden, a heartwarming and thoughtfully designed space to celebrate dogs and the people who love them.
A Garden Designed for Dogs
This garden reimagines green spaces as places where paws and plants can thrive side by side. A garden grounded in real insight about what makes dogs happy outdoors it featured soft, dog-safe planting for lounging and sniffing, shade and shelter for rest and reflection and playful pathways with sensory-rich textures to explore. A beautiful, functional blend of human and hound-friendly design—and we’re proud that twool’s sustainable dog leadshave been a part of it.
From the garden’s edging to its accessories, twool’s ethical and eco-conscious ethos is woven throughout.
Why It Matters
Great gardens are not just for show—they’re living spaces for all. The Monty Don Dog Garden champions that philosophy, and we couldn’t agree more. Sustainability, beauty and utility can all work together!
We’re incredibly proud to be part of this gentle revolution in garden design, where sustainability, utility and design blend together and dogs are always welcome. The garden will live on as it hops across the river to its new home at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The twool dog leads that were donated to the garden will be used to raise funds for the animals in their wonderful care.

How could anyone say that these beauties aren’t photogenic? You can see more of …
