Crufts Sustainability Award – dog lead recognition
For the past 15 years our commitment to sustainability has been at the heart of all we do. This year, we were thrilled to have our efforts recognised with the Sustainable Product Award for our dog leads at Crufts, the world’s premier dog show.
An honour to be awarded this accolade
The Agria Sustainable Exhibitor Awards, introduced at Crufts 2025, aims to spotlight businesses prioritising eco-friendly practices within the pet industry.
Ruth Dancer, Director at White Griffin, who judged the awards, commented:
“We felt that Twool exemplifies some key practices and stories that deserve to be amplified and recognised through this award. The use of natural fibres, grown regeneratively, totally free from plastics, has to be celebrated.”
Our commitment to the environment, to farmers, to the future
Using British wool supports local farmers and ensures our products are biodegradable and free from harmful plastics. Making the most of the heritage manufacturing available in the UK means that from sheep to lead, our products are fully traceable and made with care and attention to innovation and detail. This approach minimises our carbon footprint, contributes to a healthier planet and gives you a sustainable option when buying leads and collars for your four legged friends!
Our choice to source wool locally runs deeper than the immediate environmental benefits. We support British farming communities, ensuring fair wages and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Our products tell the story of collaboration, community, and care for the environment.
Winning the Crufts Sustainable Product 2025 Award is not just a recognition; it’s a motivation to continue our journey towards greater sustainability. We are committed to exploring new ways to reduce our environmental impact, innovate with natural materials, and inspire others in the industry to join us in making eco-conscious choices.
