We’re off to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show again – our fourth year running! It seems to come around quicker and quicker…
This year we are introducing The Woolly Bag Wall – featuring the Uber Bag range – as well as our new Green fingers traditional garden string. You’ll be able to find our Chelsheepensioners raising money for The Royal Hospital for Chelsea Pensioners as well as the full range of twool goodies available on our stand on Eastern Avenue 520.
Being asked to exhibit at Chelsea Flower Show is a huge honour and privilege. Of course, as such a small cottage industry, we couldn’t do it by ourselves! This year our stand is being sponsored by the wonderfully supportive team over at the British Wool Marketing Boardas well as part of Devon County Council‘s Devon Delivers initiative. While the prep at twool HQ continues, we’d like to extend our thanks to both the BWMB and the DCC for making this possible! 🙂
The prep for a show like this is HUGE. No sooner were we back from Toby Buckland’s Garden Festival than we were starting to sort stock for Chelsea. The good news is that The RHS couldn’t get enough of the twoolly lovlieness so we’ve a much bigger stand this year – hurrah! The past couple of weeks have been about making up giftboxes, tagging bags and filling trugs with all varieties of twool colours and twist combinations.
If you are coming to see us on the stand, please take note of the wonderful carpet – a real stunner supplied by the fab team over at Brintons carpets. Again, a huge thank you from us!
See you there? We’ll be on our stand on Eastern Avenue 520.
If you’re not coming to the show, don’t panic! You can still get all your lovely twool goodies, including the British wool dog leads for the most pampered of pooches, over in our shop!
In response to environmental issues 12 years ago we designed a fit-for-purpose, home-grown British garden twine. As a nation of gardeners, it seemed unbelievable that we were importing tonnes of jute from Asia into the country every year to tie plants in our gardens. Early on in our quest to look for alternative British renewable …

It’s early June and the baby squirrels have commandeered the ground feeder just out on the patio here at twool HQ. We’re having the smallest of sit-downs, just for a mo. To catch our breath, to make some calls, to take stock. Literally. Chelsea Flower Show is huge for us, it’s such a massive show, …
Apple Frangipane tart… Making the most of our apples at this time of the year and this year’s harvest has been fantastic! I actually found an apple that weighed in at 1lb 2oz!
