You all know how much we love the Whiteface – and their wool is just fab for all our twines, bags and dog leads. But, I bet you didn’t know that they also produce a scrotum wool fine enough for heritage fishing flies.
Yep! You read that right! BALLS. Good old Ram scrotum wool is being used for a rather special fishing fly – if you want all the info, here it is!
That’s not the only Whiteface Sheep news we have for you – Colin Pearse’s book, Drifting Away into New Pastures, celebrates 60 years of the Whiteface Breeders Association.
