Birth Days
Last week, Kim had a birthday. She wasn’t the only one, we had the pleasure of spending the morning down on Chris and Phil’s farm where plenty of lambs where having their birth day too 🙂
For the first time in weeks, Spring really did it’s thing – the sun shone, daffs smiled and Ewes birthed plenty of lambs… here are some of the highlights!
We had a tour of the barn, where we saw some very new born lambs and some very expectant mothers…
Even the cows wanted to know whaaaaaaas onn over there?? 😉
We also met the lambs in the orphanage and saw some ewes fostered out for the duration…
We even caught a couple of rebels out in the act!
It was wonderful spending time with Chris and Phil – their enthusiasm, experience and passion for what they do really hit home. It has never been ‘easy’ being a farmer, and it is something that seems only to be getting harder.
