Why on *earth* have Black Cats become so unpopular? The journos over at the Daily Mail would tell you it’s because they’re not photogenic (they’re also probably carcinogenic if the DM is up to it’s usual standards).
However, we LOVE black cats. How could anyone say that these beauties aren’t photogenic?

Black cats have a chequered history when it comes to superstition depending on the era, location and faith of the population. Black cats – lucky for Sailors, Ancient Egyptians and Witches. Black cats – ominous if walking away from a person, or crossing a person right to left.
Now, as if that wasn’t confusing enough, they’ve also had their image used in the name of Anarchy…

Three weeks today we will have a new member to our family a black kitten we are calling Bagheera ,can’t wait. Black is never out of fashion ,and goes with everything ,black is the night sky and a still pond ,it’s a magical colour, it beckons wishes and magic wands .
