It’s that time of year again: Chelsea Flower Show 2017!!
We’re off to Chelsea at the end of the week for our 5th RHS Chelsea Flower Show – and we’re all a bit giddy with excitement truth be known! It’s been a crazy couple of weeks at twoolly HQ trying to get everything organised, but we’re sorted (we think).
From trug loads of colours… to the trugs themselves!
While we’ve been busily preparing stock here on Dartmoor, those lovely people over at Brintons have supplied us with a gorgeous carpet for our stand – stylish and snug for our new home for the week! That’s not all, our stand will also have a gorgeous display of British Flowers via the fantastic bunch down in Cornwall at B J Richards Flowers. We’ll be sharing our RHS Chelsea Flower Show pictures over on twitter, facebook and instagram @thisistwool so keep an eye out for them!
Huge thanks once again, this sort of sponsorship is so important for a small business like twool. We truly are a cottage industry and Chelsea Flower Show is massive for us. While we’re on the thanks bit – we’d also like to thank the Telegraph for their wonderful article last week. You can read the full article here.
To celebrate the launch of our collaboration with tool experts, Sneeboer, we’ve even organised the Great British Wind Up, a Chelsea press photocall. That rather nice Rob Smith off the telly (winner of BBC’s The Big Allotment Challenge) and pals will be racing each other to see who can wind up the Sneeboer twooline the fastest. It’s all about woolly winning!
Update: Beautiful blooms are in… and the smell is incredible!
What a year! HUGE thanks to new stockists and old… here are just a few latest additions to the flock! Monkton Elm, Darts Farm, Ben’s Farm Shop, Country Baskets, Suttons, Eco Craft, St Bridget’s Nursery. Not on the list but want to join the fun? Get in touch today! We also couldn’t have made it this year without the …
Marmalade weekend with David Many of you will already have seen the wonderful drawings that David Gurdon doodles for us here at twool, well for the past 3 years we have chosen a weekend in January to all get together and make Marmalade. There’s nothing quite like the taste of delicious homemade Marmalade spread …
It’s been a fab November so far over here at Woolly HQ! We kicked off our Festive Fairs with a trip to Wells for the Bishop’s Palace Christmas Market – it’s such a beautiful location and we met some great people, both exhibitors and visitors alike! There was even time for a little unconventional yarnbombing… …
We’ve just had a fab weekend exhibiting at The Contemporary Craft Festival in Bovey Tracey where we caught up with old pals, met new customers and even managed a little yarnbomb or two over the course of the weekend. Like any outdoor event, we were at the mercy of the elements – summer, eh?! Rain …
