We might have been quieter than usual but that’s not to say we’ve not been busy this summer. Check out the shiny new website!
Our commitment is to: sustainability, social value, British wool & British heritage manufacturing
Our new website brings our story, our shop and our twool shed blog into one place, making it easier to discover the latest news in sustainable British wool goodies.
We’d love you to visit us come and take a look around. There are new products as well as all our usual favourite gardening goodies & gifts, dog leads & collars, hats & bags.
Super sustainable twool nesting wool for birds and hoglets is a by-product from the carding process of our twine manufacturing. Wool makes fantastic nesting materiel and birds collect this fibre in the wild wherever sheep graze. As well as being a cosy liner, it is practical as it doesn’t retain water in the nest and it will fully biodegrade in time.
Our commitment is to: tread lighter in our world
Treading lighter in the world has never been more important than it is today and, small changes collectively can make a huge impact.
Join us in our commitment to tread lighter in our world!

We had a lovely time, in spite of the sporadic showers, and met some amazing people. Huge thanks to Jo and Jonathan for making us feel so welcome and we very much look forward …
It has been a miserable winter, wet, wet and more wet! Heartbreaking images of sheep up to their elbows in water, homes and businesses flooded and confused flowers blooming far too early. However, it’s *not* all doom and gloom! The days are lengthening – hurrah! And would you look at the light? These daffs are practically glowing! …
Today was a fab day at twool HQ – we are gearing up for the debut of Countryfile LIVE with OneHutFull so it’s been an admin and press release writing sort of day. We took a break for a restock run to Riverford – a spot of lunch with homemade Elderflower, naturally! YUM! And even …
